Banshee is the town hide out of a man who stole $15 million in diamonds from a mob boss. The man steals the identity of the newly-dead sheriff, Lucas Hood. As Hood, he makes contact with the daughter of the mob boss he robbed, who is also the woman who helped him steal the money. She is currently using the alias ?Carrie Hopewell? and has married the DA. In Season 1 of this show, Hood and Carrie fight a crime lord by the name of Kai Proctor and the mob boss that they stole from. Season 2 is about Hood?s attempt to deal with a struggle between a tribal chief and Kai Proctor, the fall-out from the fight with the mob boss, and the return of the real Hood?s son.
