Think flashback to the 80's and that's what you will find with "The Goldbergs." This sitcom features a family of five where the maternal grandfather resides too. The show's creator is the sole inspiration for the series that relives special memories from his life. The youngest child, Adam, is the muse playing the role of the creator himself. Adam's love for movies and close bond with this grandpa create an emotional bond with viewers. His older brother and sister entertain as well as the oldest, Erica, is your typical popular girl. On the other hand, older brother Barry aka Big Tasty has a sweet nature, but is overcome by awkwardness. Storylines revolve around their 'smother' and her inept meddling nature.
