Studies have shown that when one person in a marriage has a long-term disability or illness that impedes independence and creates daily obstacles while interacting with the world, the success of that partnership relies on trust. Gina has been blind since childhood, but she has never allowed that challenge to stop her from living a full life. Her husband, James, has played a huge part in guaranteeing her independence in the bustling city of Bangkok where they live.
