It's not hard to get caught up in the pomp and mystery of English drama. World War I had its effect on the entire world and brought the mighty British empire to its knees. The Brits were in a freefall and the Yanks were ascending. One noble old British family, in particular, struggled to maintain its nobility and keep its bloodline pure. It makes for an interesting story...depending on which side of the ocean you call home and who you choose to cheer for.
