Robyn Davidson has never been the stay-at-home type. She is the kind of person who is always looking for open skies and an open road to travel. As any world traveler will tell you, there are no more open skies or open roads in the world than the ones found in Australia. One day, Robyn Davidson decided to conquer those roads and see exactly what she could find in the wide-open wilderness of the Land Down Under. Robyn decides to set off on a 1,700-mile journey without technology and without human companionship. She begins her journey with four sturdy camels and her best friend, her dog. Once she gets into her journey, she starts to discover that we all leave tracks behind on this Earth. It is the people who make the most of those track that wind up being the ones who feel most fulfilled about their lives.
