Deborah Dobkins is a ditzy and insipid woman who is pursuing a modeling career. While en route to an audition for the game show "The Price is Right," Deborah passes away in an auto accident. When her soul attempts to access heaven, Fred the gatekeeper decides that she's a "zero-zero." This is partially because she hasn't done anything selfless while she was alive. It's also because she hasn't done anything awful to anyone else, either. When Fred stops paying attention for a second, Deborah hits the "return" key. This leads to her coming back to life as Jane Bingum, an attorney who just passed away. Jane passed away while helping her boss, Jay Parker. Jane is nothing like Deborah. She's a smart, diligent, generous and kind person. She also happens to be overweight. As Deborah embarks on a new life as Jane, she begins to discover what inner beauty is all about. Deborah has a hard time in her new role as Jane, receiving invaluable lessons in concepts such as self-worth.
