King of the Hill depicts the animated life of Hank Hill, a propane salesman and average Joe hailing from the great state of Texas. Hank?s family is filled with interesting characters, including his efficient wife, a wounded-veteran father, a teenage niece and a son whose antics are a constant source of embarrassment and alarm for Hank. He fares little better in the circle of friends and neighbors who constantly gather with him along a neighborhood fence to drink beer and discuss life. As the series unfolds, Hank is often the lone voice of reason and finds himself either bailing his friends and family out of their self-inflicted troubles or an unintentional participant in the amusing scenarios which make up a majority of the comedy and action of the episodes.
