Adele is a seemingly normal 15-year-old high-school student. She attends classes, gossips with her girlfriends, and aspires to be a school teacher. She even begins dating Thomas, an attractive boy at her school. Her life is turned upside-down one day, however, when she runs into an older blue-haired art student named Emma on the street. When she goes to sleep at night, now all she can seem to think about is Emma. Curious about her desires, she shows up at a lesbian bar one night, only to find Emma there. Adele?s attraction to Emma kick starts her sexual awakening, and she becomes torn between what feels right and what is expected from her close-minded classmates. Her feelings continue to develop for Emma, and the two develop a deep connection. There is a noticeable difference between these two, however. While Adele has had quite a conservative upbringing with down-to-earth ambitions, Emma lives in a loftier world of art and culture. It is these slight imbalances that will eventually lead to their fragile relationship violently imploding.
