Manolo wants to follow his dreams. Like many young people, his dreams are often in sharp contrast to what his family expects of him. To follow his dreams would mean disappointing his family, and Manolo doesn't want to do that either. This great struggle between what the heart wants and what the family wants plagues many people. Manolo heads out on a great adventure to three fantasy realms. In these worlds, he'll have to face his biggest fears and come out the other side with a better understanding of his fate.
