The adventurous Shadow Dan is a shadow who lives in a world where every person has a self-aware shadow. Unfortunately for him, he has been paired with the very dull Daniel Grubb, whose life is as bland as can be. When Daniel becomes unintentionally caught up in a dangerous crime, however, it is time for Shadow Dan to take action. He takes control of his hapless human and finally has the chance to have the adventure he has always wanted. Now that he has it, though, will he find that it is all it is cracked up to be?
