NCIS is a crime drama television series that follows the cases of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service's Washington, D.C. Major Case Response Team. The team is responsible for investigating crimes involving the Navy and Marine Corps, as well as those that have a nexus to the military. NCIS is a fast-paced, action-packed show that features complex cases, interesting characters, and plenty of suspense. The team is led by Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a former Marine who is known for his dry wit and his keen eye for detail. Other members of the team include Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo, a former NYPD detective with a knack for getting into trouble; Special Agent Timothy McGee, a computer whiz who is always one step ahead of the bad guys; and Dr. Abby Sciuto, a forensic scientist who is known for her eccentric personality and her love of all things macabre.
