Mike and Molly is an American sitcom about a Chicago couple who fall in love in the most unlikely of places. Mike Biggs, a kind hearted cop who genuinely wants to lose weight, meets Molly Flynn, a fourth-grade teacher who knows how to find humor when it comes to her curves, at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting. Mike becomes convinced to attend the meeting by his thin partner with a wise-guy attitude, Carl McMillan, who, despite all his teasing, encourages Mike to walk down the path towards losing weight and finding romance. Molly lives with her thin, good looking sister, Victoria and her mother, Joyce, who throw their effortless figures in Molly?s face while pampering their healthy appetites. Because of this, Molly finds it hard to make healthy decisions when it comes to her weight and decides to attend the meeting as well. While searching for a solution to weight lose, Mike and Molly find something even better and are about to see where their search companionship and support will take them.
